A late extra-time goal from Alan McGirr gave Copany Rovers U16's victory in the Shield Final Replay, played under the floodlights in Ballyshannon.

Both sides were unable to break the deadlock in the first ninety minutes, with the match finishing 0-0, meaning that these two evenly matched sides were unable to be seperated between the 120 minutes of the original final, and 90 minutes in the replay. However, the towering McGirr's late header stuck the ball in the onion bag to give the Cobras the trophy.
