Paul Clarke has started the season where he left off last season, by scoring goals. Paul is a hard working forward who works the channels well and has an eye for goal. Paul recently scored his first hat-trick for the club in the home victory over Orchard United.
After netting an impressive 11 goals in the 07/08 season, the majority scored in the first half of the season before he lost a bit of fitness which aided his loss in form and confidence, Paul rejoined the Cobras during the tail end of the promotion push in the 08/09 season. Paul immediately became a first 11 player, and netted two important goals in his two matches against Letterbarrow and Glenree to help fire Copany to promotion and show his worth to the team.
Despite struggling for large parts of the 10/11 season in front of goal, having quite a number of goals questionably ruled out for offside, Paul added a different dimension to his game - becoming captain in Aaron Scotts absense through injury, working hard and providing many assists - a huge number as a result of his throw in ablility. Paul grabbed the Senior Player of the Year award for the first time in his tenth season of excellent dedicaiton to the team.
