Former captain at youth level for Copany, Gary's talent accelerated himself to a regular first team berth at the age of 16 during the start of Stephen Johnston and Russell Gormans first campaign - the 06/07 season.
Gary rejoined the club halfway through the 07/08 season. The youngster can play in a number of positions and adds versatility to the Copany side.
Despite his youth, Gary was a regular in the Copany engine room in the 08/09 season which was capped with promotion, and he netted a goal-of-the-season contender in the opening game of the season against Arranmore with a thunderous volley from outside the area.
Despite Copanys relegation in the 09/10 season, Gary impressed in a new role of right-back, winning the Young Player of the Year award following some impressive maurading right back displays.
