Alan was an integral part of the Copany Rovers under 16 team which reached the semi-final stage of the Arena 7 County Donegal Champions League.
Alan played in around half of Copanys games in the promotion season of 08/09 and showed his versatility and talent, notably at center back in the second last game of the season against Letterbarrow where he put in an outstanding display.
