After a couple of seasons where he couldn't force his way into the first team, it is great credit to Gary for finally forcing his way into becoming a regular in the Copany side during the 06/07 season. It is also a great example to current fringe players of how you can persevere in training and try to take your chances when they arise. Gary was one of the more impressive players for the 06/07, and his versatility meens he can play in a number of positions. Gary was the first choice right back for the 07/08 season.
Gary started the 08/09 season as first choice right-back, and netted a goal in the home match against Raphoe Town. However, his season was curtailed after the home match against Cappry and he was to play no further part in the promotion campaign.
Returning to the fold in advance of the 09/10 season, Gary will be looking to re-establish his place in the first team.
