Creative midfielder Aaron Scott re-signed for the club in the summer of '07 following a number of seasons with Finn Harps, where he played in the Harps Ulster Senior League and U-21 side. Aaron is a central midfield player with excellent game intellegence and received the Players' Player of the Year award last campaign. Aaron was appointed club captain for the 08/09 season.
The 08/09 season was a memorable campaign for the very-local lad Aaron. After being appointed captain, he played a major part in Copanys promotion campaign, missing only one game in very understanding circumstances. In doing so, he became only the third Copany player to captain a promotion winning Copany senior side in the clubs 21 year Donegal Junior Football League history.
