Stephen Johnston and Russell Gorman are to stay on as joint-managers for the forthcoming season, and will be looking to continue their good work and give promotion a real crack this season.
It will be the pairs second-full season in charge, after taking over from James Given in January '07. Steady progress has been made under their tenure, lifting the 'traditional whipping boys' (Copyright: Donegal Post - away match vs. Drumbar), into promotion contenders last season.
A mid season slump in form paid an end to their promotion hopes, but a promising start and finish to the season means there will be plenty of optimism in the camp for the season ahead.
Some of the stars from the successful Under 16 side - which performed magnificently well to reach the semi-finals of the all-Donegal Champions League - will be promoting to the senior side. The likes of Stephen Brady, Alan McGirr, Shane Walsh and Andrew Wilson will be pushing hard for a starting place for the start of the campaign.
