A double from Paul Clarke gave Copany Rovers their first win of the season against Ballybofey United.
The visitors looked the more likely side to open the scoring in the first half, however, the home side got a penalty on 36 minutes when Aaron Scott was upended in the box. Paul Clarke stepped up to give Copany the lead going into half time.
On 56 minutes, Ballybofey got their equaliser, when a long throw in caused confusion in the box, and Ryan Carlin put the ball in the net from close range. With the impressive Paul McGroary and Aaron Scott pulling the strings in midfield, Copany began to take control of the match, but had to wait until 83 minutes for Paul Clarke to grab his second of the day, an secure a rare win for the hosts.
