Copany started this match brighter against the promotion favourites Lagan, and Darryl Duncan saw his snapshot fly wide of the post on 5 minutes. Copany continued to press, and took the lead on 10 minutes when Aaron Scott delightfully chipped Tony Blake with his left foot.
Lagan created their first chance on 13 minutes, when a throw in put Ronan Gibson free, but his effort was well saved by Gary Ward, and a minute later Paul Rodgers sent an effort wide of the post.
On 20 minutes, Lagan got their equaliser, when the ever dangerous Stephen O'Donnell picked up the ball on 25 yards, and sent a piledriver into the corner of the net, for a fine finish.
Two minutes later Lagan went close as they looked to take the lead, when a Kevin Kelly cross was headed against the bar after good work on the flank by John Gallagher.
On 56 minutes, a well worked move saw David Graham put free by Darryl Duncan for Copany, but he smashed his effort off the crossbar.
On 65 minutes, Gary McCafferty made a surging run from full back, and played the impressive Eoghan Gorman in, but his effort was well saved, and from the resultant corner, Alan McGirr's close range header was saved at point blank range by Tony Blake.
Copany were fully dominant at this stage, and on 67 minutes, David Graham hit the crossbar for the second time in the game with an attemped chip.
The Cobras pressure eventually paid off, and on 74 minutes a defensive error left David Graham free to slot past Tony Blake at the near post.
Six minutes from time, Ronan Gibson latched onto a flick from a throw in but put the ball in the side net from a tight angle.
On 87 minutes, Stephen O'Donnell danced past three players and the keeper but tried to lay the ball onto Christopher Toner when he probably should have finished himself.
In the last minute, Lagan found their equaliser, when a run and cross by Stephen O'Donnell down the right was headed into the roof of the net by Christopher Toner from close range.
