04/11/07 @ 2:00PM -- Copany Rovers 0-1 Dunlewey Celtic -- Venue: Killowen Park

An understrength Copany side, decimated by injuries and suspensions, suffured another narrow defeat, this time at the hands of Dunlewey Celtic.

The visitors just about shaded an evenly balanced first half, with few clear cut chances at either end. A Dunlewey striker shot wide with the goal empty after 20 minutes after Joe Gallagher failed to gather a long ball upfield.

Copany's best chance of the first half fell to Conal Rooney on the stroke of half time. However, his drive from the edge of the box was somehow turned onto the bar by a defender and bounced on the line and away to safety.

Both sides looked for a winner in the second half, and it was Dunlewey who grabbed all three points with ten minutes to go, when good work by the Dunlewey striker fed an onrushing midfielder to slam home from the edge of the box. Dunlewey looked comfortable after this and easily held on to gain the maximum points.

Kevin Brady performed well at the heart of the Copany defense, while Joe Gallagher had a good game in nets.
