Inspired by the two Seamus Friels, with 'Nanny' grabbing a hat-trick, Kerrykeel eventually eased to a five one victory over Copany in Ballyshannon, with an attacking performance that would indicate they will be in the mix up for promotion.

The first half was even keel for the most part, with Copany guilty of not being clinical enough despite creating a number of clear cut chances. Kerrykeel on the day fairly ruthless in front of the net overall with some clinically dispatched goals.

Fergal Friel scored the first for Kerrykeel after 10 minutes when he got on the end of a good delivery from wide to nod home from 6 yards.

Kerrykeel doubled their advantage after 32 minutes when Seamus 'Nanny' Friel dispatched home.

Copany were unfortunate to find themselves two down at the break. The second half, however, was all Kerrykeel who put in a controlled performance to grab three much needed points.

Seamus 'Nanny' Friel grabbed his second when he walzed past two defenders and the keeper before slotting home for a fine goal on 56.

Copany instantly pulled one back on 57 from the restart when David Graham slid through Thomas Given who dispatched the ball past the keeper.

Kerrykeel restored their three goal cushion when Seamie 'Coshia' Friel produced a fine finish from the edge of the area to the corner of the net on 66.

Seamus 'Nanny' Friel grabbed his hat-trick on 69 minutes with another expert finish to the corner of the net.

David Graham hit the post late on for the home side.

Best for Copany was Pete Walsh, with a strong team effort by the away side where the two Seamus Friels stood out.
