There will be much for Russell Gorman to ponder in terms of areas to address after a rather lacklustre defeat to Donegal Town on Wednesday evening.

Copany started the game well on top, and took the lead on 4 minutes when David Graham glanced home a Paul Clarke throw in.

With Aaron Scott in particular standing out, showcasing his spectrum of talents at right back, Copany looked comfortable with the ball in the early part of the game.

However, Donegal levelled through a speculative long range effort before half time, and grabbed what proved to be the winner in the first minute of stoppage time at the end of the 90 with a fine effort from range following a neat move.

Copany had quite a number of efforts on goal throughout the course of the match, but lacked a little in end product in the final third and with their finishing on the day.

A very good performance by a very youthful Donegal Town side, with Danny McGarrigle having a fine game in the engine room.

Next up in their pre-season preperations is the Brian McCormick Sports Cup match away to Eany Celtic on Sunday.
