DEFEAT IN SECOND GAME IN DUNKINEELY TOURNAMENT

COPANY TEAM

Copanys second game of the Seamus McCallig Memorial tournament ended defeat as they went down 2-0 to Ballyshannon side Erne Wanderers.

Copany played some good football in the first half, and created a few chances in a very physical game.

Erne took the lead when a shot following a corner was adjudged to have hit Graham Harron on the arm.

Erne went 2-0 up in the second half, when a player was allowed too much room to shoot, and fired the ball into the corner of the net.

David Graham missed the opportunity to reduce the gap with 10 minutes remaining, when his penalty was sent wide after Dale Duncan won a penalty following a good run.

Improvement needed following a poor 2nd half display, but still early in pre-season preperations.
