Match Report
Killybegs outfit St. Catherines prevailed to the next round of the Cup after good win over the Cobras.

A blistering start to this match for the visitors provided St. Catherines a comfortable four goal victory over Copany at Killowen Park.

The Killybegs outfit took the lead on 4 minutes, when Conor Blain nipped behind the Copany rearguard and finished to the corner of the net following good build up play. St. Catherines doubled their lead on 5 minutes, when Conor O'Rourke got on the end of a cross from the right, and slotted home.

Copany gradually came into the encounter, and despite facing a well drilled Killybegs defense, created a number of half chances, the closest being a well caught volley from Glen Duncan from 25 yards that forced the 'keeper into a fine save to tip the ball around the post.

St Catherines got their third goal after 64 minutes, when Conor Blain got behind the Copany defense to grab his second of the day.

The victory was wrapped up near the end, when Ryan Ward nipped in and slotted the ball past Gary Ward with the last kick of the game.

Good team performance by the visitors, who were perhaps worthy of the final scoreline, with Colin Mulhern working hard up front for the hosts, and Stephen Doherty impressing after his introduction. Liam McGirr didn't put a foot wrong after his late introduction.
