A strong second half display saw Copany overturn a one goal deficit at half time to record a victory by the odd goal in three over Keadue at a blustery Killowen Park. Following a number of half chances for either side, with Doalty Boyle causing problems for the home defense, Keadue took the lead on 26 minutes with an excellent goal. Following a neat one touch flowing move involving a number of players down the right hand side, a center found it's way to Michael McDougall who dispatched the ball expertly into the corner of the net. David Graham went closest to finding the equaliser for the Cobras when he found his curling effort graze the top of the crossbar just before half time. Following an inspired Russell Gorman pep-talk, the home side took the game to the visitors in the second half. A combination of Aaron Scott and Paul Clarke turned the ball into the net early on but was ruled out for offside. The home side were not to be denied however, and found the equaliser on 56 minutes when Dale Duncan pinged the top corner with a stunning strike from 30 yards. With the home side creating lots of chance - with the skillful trio of Glen Harron, David Graham and Lee Doherty proving good outlets, they took the lead on 68 minutes when Paul Clarke drilled the ball past the 'keeper with his left foot after a move initiated by some clever footwork from Glen Harron. Keadue were denied an equaliser when a through ball found a well timed run behind the Copany defense, but a superb last ditch sliding block from James Walsh preserved the advantage. The Dungloe men pushed Adrian Sweeney out of defense as they attempted to claw their way back into the match late on but could not breach a deep lying Copany defense as the home side recorded victory. Team effort from Keadue, with the forward thinking Glen Duncan having a fine game at right back and Glen Harron returning to form for the home side.
