League 04/10/09 @ 2:00PM
Deele started this encounter much the brighter and created numerous chances in the first half, but a combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping left the match scoreless after the opening 45 minutes. Deele started where they left off in the second period, and hit the crossbar at the start of the second half, before scoring direct from a corner through Shane Gallagher on 50 minutes. Copany eventually rallied after this, and despite playing some good football, couldn't break the deadlock, with Darren Kilpatrick spurning a glorious opportunity two minutes from the end. Deele grabbed a second on the stroke of full time, when Shane Gallagher netted his second, slotting into the corner of the net following a defensive error. Shane Gallagher was best for Deele, with Aaron Scott best for Copany. Copany Rovers would like to thank todays match sponsors, Green Valley Foods. Referee: D. O'Donnell Copany Team: Subs: |
