Copany Rovers 1-2 Cappry Rovers David Graham (?) Venue: Killowen Park Copany suffered another defeat by the odd goal in three after Kevin McGlynns late volley secured the win for in-form Cappry at Killowen Park. Copany Rovers hosted Cappry Rovers who were looking for their forth win on the trot. And it was the visitors who took the lead 5 minutes before half time through a Kevin McGlynn volley from a long throw. It remained one nil to the visitors at half time in a competitive first half. Copany started to come more and more into the game in the second half forcing the Cappry keeper into action. And it was David Graham who got the home side back on level terms with a fine left foot finish . Both sides continued to create chances with Darragh Brogan and Ryan Kerrigan having good efforts saved, but it was the visitors who got the all important goal from a Darren O’Leary free kick . Copany pushed looking for the equaliser and had the ball in the net in added time but was ruled out due to pushing in box. The visitors held on for another important 3 points. Spirited performance from the home side and good team performance from Cappry. Referee: Liam Farren |
