League Cappry Rovers maintained their 100% start to the league campaign with a hard-fought victory over a spirited Copany side at Killowen Park, with Niall Bonner netting a double for the divisions pacesetters. The home side started brightly enough, and their best chance of the opening half hour was an effort that was cleared off the line. The away side took the lead on 35 minutes, whan an angled cross from the right was met by ex-Finn Harps winger Niall Bonner, and he made no mistake, heading home from close range. Bonner doubled the lead on 55 minutes with an excellent second. He picked the ball up halfway inside the Copany half, beat his marker, before sending the ball low and into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to seal yet another victory for Cappry. Cappry put in an impressive team performance, to vindicate why they are top of the league, while the Cobras put in a much improved display in comparison to their last two outings.
