Stephen Johnston and Russell Gorman will stay on as Senior Team Managers for a third full-season after being proposed unapposed at the Copany Rovers A.G.M. which was held in the Dew Drop Inn, Laghey on Monday 1st June 2009
Stephen and Russell shall now set their stall out to try to perform the necessary to keep Copany in the Milford Inn Division 1 after their promotion last season.
Gary Ward was the big winner at the Copany Rovers 2009 Presentation Night, which was held in the Abbey Hotel on Saturday 30th May, as he scooped both the Senior Team Player of the Year award as well as the Players' Player of the Year Award.
David Graham was also to scoop two awards on the night, adding the Young Player of the Year Award to his Top Goalscorer award.

What turned out to be a great season on the pitch for Copany - with promotion secured for the first time in 17 years, further gloss was put on the season when they were awarded the Benny Daly Memorial Award for the Best Behaved Club for the 08/09 campaign.

Congratulations to the three Copany Cobras youth players who, playing for Finn Harps Youths, won the John 'Gorey' Curran Memorial Cup on the 9th May, after they overcame Glenea United in Bonagee.
